WAR

by The lonley Soldier   Feb 24, 2010

One by one, they march off to war,
Only to see their loved ones no more.

They know the risk, they take the chance ,
And to death's door they dance.

To play with the angels, to play how'er gay,
Only to think back to the day.

Where they, the brave ones, were shipped off to warm,
Where they would see their loved ones no more.
