The Girl With No Name

by Ariangela   Feb 24, 2010

She throws her phone out the window.. No one will call her today.
She fills up the bath tub and picks up the razor blade.
With one step into the tub she thinks about her so called friends,
With the second step she realizes she was meant to be alone at the end.
As she sits down the water reaches her thighs,
She thinks about her boyfriend and all their endless fights.
Ha she laughs ill escape those now for sure,
Happiness to her is beyond a blur.
All the lies and betrayal lifes put her through,
Makes her want to rip out her heart and stab it too.
The water is now right below her face,
She decides its time before it gets too late.
She takes the blade and slits her wrist,
She is not someone people will miss.
She closes her eyes as the water reaches her nose,
She hopes this amount of intoxication is the right dose.
Within in a few minutes she's floating with no life,
As contridicting as it sounds I bet she's never felt more alive.
All the pain and misery is finally out the door,
She will never have to cry silently anymore.

    I like this poem.
    I can relate to it..
    Well, besides I'm alive...
    But, I like it.
Only one suggestion.. I'd change the word "mins" to minutes.
Just because its gonna be a bit better from the english stand point...

    Im bad about that.
But, I really do like how its put together.
