The Luck Of Serendipity

by FlowerThatDied   Mar 8, 2010

Don't judge me on falling short,
I won't judge you on conformity,
Don't judge me for changing my dreams,
I won't judge you for serendipity.

You stumbled across your destiny,
I had to find my path,
You sit up there on a high horse,
But this is my life in a bloodbath.

We are from two seperate worlds,
I cannot expect you to comprehend,
The worlds we've taken advantage of,
Have had separate effects in the end.

It's probably better we step back now,
It's all been quite lovely I'm sure,
But this is my world and how I choose to live,
I am not intelligent, funny or pure.

You'll go on and do something wonderful,
I'll do my best just to get by day to day,
These are paths we chose but I don't want to deal,
I have chosen my life and you'll find your own way.
