Get Up

by ntv650   Mar 10, 2010

Get up, out of bed. Open the curtains and the light will rain.
Remember last night, it was not a dream.
She really spoke to me. Yes, she really spoke to me.
Feet down on a dirty floor, open a window.
Let the cold air wrap around, stand there naked.
Go to the mirror, good morning my face,
Brush the teeth and maybe have a shave.
Put on yesterday's clothes, the ones lying there.
It's cold outside, better take a coat.
Open the front door, hello beautiful world.
Take a step.
