Suffocating Secret

by Leah   Mar 10, 2010

The secrets lie inside me,
turning, causing chaos, an eruption,
nothing helps, I can't be free,
barred from beauty, from peace, just sin.

A sin, an ungodly act,
a physical beauty, inside a demon so still,
on myself, I attack,
how does a distasteful rose grow with such will?

Distasteful, a distasteful mess,
disrupted, disarmed, disloyal,
and on two men's faces she'll caress,
ill intentioned snake she'll coil.

attracted they are, fooled so easily,
she'll have two loves at one time,
and on both hearts she'll dance so freely,
is loving twice such a crime?

She loves so strong, it's eternal too,
different with different men,
but oh! Her love is ever so true,
both fall for her again and again.

They know nothing of each other,
both think she has given her heart to one,
and yet, there she is a double lover,
in truth, her heart is free to run.

She couldn't chose, she couldn't pick,
couldn't decipher, decide, which lips to kiss,
whose body gives more warmth at night,
or who's heart, with hers, feels most right.

So she sneaks and deceives, and mainly lies,
so she can keep the hearts of two different guys,
as much as it internally tares her apart,
to be with one man, she wouldn't know where to start.

If they knew, they would leave, but they never will,
a handful of sins lays so still,
but beneath the surface she loves both equally,
this is what she wants, nobody will see.

As long as she hides it,
keeps it a suffocating secret,
no other heart with hers will fit.

Suffocating secret,
dancing around her like a whispering truth,
but no one is perfect,
especially as they are discovering them self in youth.

And as she is lustful, vibrant, youthful,
her suffocating secret becomes her guide,
as right now she shares herself with two,
but will someday be one man's bride.
