No where but dead

I wait for your call with tears in my eyes.
I don't know where you are.
Are you near or are you covered with lies?
Every tear that streams down my face tells me you are far.
Every fear that I have has been telling me of the other guys.
Every thought I have is you dying in a car.
Where is my partner in bed?

I receive a call,
Of all the people there it was you,
and now I fall
What will I do?
You've left your body and now your gone.
I'm without you.
What will I do?
I fear to turn the lights on.
Where is my partner in bed?
You are no where but dead.

(Its not based on anything true, just something I had in my head that I needed to write down. But please comment.)

    hey-it was a good poem-keep writing yeah- i somtimes get that urge too, of just writing something down even if it isnt true. it helps to get my feelings out

    Hey, thats was a pretty good poem, you might want to think about re-wording it or rhyming every second line, it didn't flow so well. It was a good idea to write about though, don't take the creative critism to heart, i'm not trying to be mean, keep writing.
