A Man, A Lie.

by K a u r u   Mar 17, 2010

The sweet touch of lies
from your simple body,
bares my heart and takes
my soul, entrusted.

Nothing ever so beautiful,
as your subdued heart beat.
Not beating for me, but yet
I lust for just the sweet melody.

I indulge in a clash,
of others to win thy heart.
Sad, truth, no one ever
wins an inveterate challenge.

As we long for his perfection,
emanating from his eyes
filled with the sky, and heaven,
we shall never acquire.

His soft voice, in our minds,
exfoliating our rhythmic heart.
A man that we so wish to love,
is only in our dreams.
