Blinding Light

by Dramaqueen   Mar 30, 2010

I walk down a hall
And then I see
A blinding light
And out of this light
You come.
From the moment
I saw you,
I knew I would
Love you more
Than anything else
My Love for you
Is taller than
The tallest Mountain,
Deeper than the
Deepest sea,
For you are
My world.
But then something
Changed.
My love died
Though yours didn't.
When I said
The famous line,
"We need to talk."
A deafing silence
Penetrated the
Room.
I said I no
Longer loved
You an
You said,
"OK."
"You always want
What you don't have."
You said.
I looked in your
Eyes and agreed.
As i watched
You walk away
I saw a
Blinding flash of
Light...
And YOU walked
In it.
I smiled to
myself as
The light
Faded.
I knew you were right.
"I wanted what
I didn't have."
And you were
Proof.
