Why only boys?

Why can't they see like we do
Why can't they be in our shoes
Why can't they cry like us
Why can't I be the one to hear and say hush
Why can't they stay up all night
Why can't they try and fix the fight
Why can't they be the ones to care
Why do we always have to share
Why do they always get to leave
Why do we have to have those pet peaves
Why can't they worry about everything
Why can't we be the ones to not care about anything
Why can't they have fragile hearts
Why can't we be like sharks
Why can't we shatter what they feel
Why can't we be made of steel
Why can't we be like boys
