Life and people in our lives can suffocate us. It is like they take the air we breathe and we try hard to find that happiness to give us a fresh outlook, a new breath. Well done.

Very intense poem. Sometimes things can get so bad we don't want to breathe again. Life is a hard journey to travel. We are hurt by so many things along the way.

I had to read this twice to try and get a feel for underlying inspiration for the poem, in the end I suppose that it's somewhat ambiguous so that each reader can fit it to their own experience. This is one of those poems that prods the reader to think. Enjoyable read.
