Three months of pain.

by J u l e s   Apr 2, 2010

For three months, I watched you date
with every week a different face,
you made me cry, you made me scream
in three weeks I was replaced.

For three months, you called me names
You tore me down til I went insane,
and in my heart you left a scar
you left me like a broken car.

For three months, I had to wait
and every day my heart would break,
but never did I leave your side
yet every night my soul had died.

And to this day, I still hold my love
I wait and wait for you to come
and in my hands my heart will lie
I'll wait for you until the day I die.

A moving piece that's well rhymed and ends dramatically. The idea of your heart lying, broken, in your hands is excellent.
