This world

by Corryn Clay   Apr 2, 2010

I don't understand how you can do this to me
play games with my head twist me, turn me
you try to form me to you, just as you please
with lies and tricks that taunt and tease

you've got most others to be molded like clay
little kids to adult you scream and yell "come play!"
manipulated and blind just like its a race
puzzle pieces gluing together, they fall right into place

i see it all, how theirs the bad and the worse
how you tool with inoscent minds, get the to do worse
you've gotta plan and oh boy is it working
"peer pressure" you call it, its got everyone talking

you try to hide, something that shouldn't be possible
trying to get people to see this seems to be impossible
i guess i'm just different, a strange little girl
who has her own path, who's not part of this world
