Metamorphosis

by Indian Comma Bean   Apr 4, 2010

Sweet innocence of morning breath
spins prisms of scent within these
caverns brought to light,
two pearls wound with hazel thread
seek to entwine such brilliant weaves
upon their ever-changing tapestry.
Beloved kin of ocean's twin
lights laughter ablaze within the timberland;
sends wisps of decay into the air.
While daytime paints the river lucid,
the lazy current sends flock to plume,
such elegance in ignorance leaves
carmine petals agape, awe-struck,
yet proceeded with no less than bliss.

    Awh wow this was gorgeous. Great imagery!! I am in the process of writing a poem with the same title , with the transition of winter to spring. Beautiful work here, unique descriptions.
