To desire you

by Miss Krueger   Apr 5, 2010

As I long for oblivion as much as night
How could you look beyond my scarcities?
And as I wander through this sallow sight
Would you realise, reluctantly

That every breath you have left to come
I cherish apprehensively
And wherever your pain is coming from
I will fight it more belligerently

Than thousand men of smoke and steel
Without no room for fallacy
And if the blood could make you heal
Desire sprouts capriciously

But that would never be enough
I thirst for more than clemency
The night will have me before your love
You are not to be mine, inevitably
