Winter

by Skyfire   Apr 7, 2010

Mix it slowly-
silver spoon
circling scratched mug,
soft chocolate scent.
And after,
cold hands hidden in
a deep down
comforter,
eyelashes closing lazily
over
parted lips.
Big, bold flakes
nestling in the
window corners,
caught in the wind,
gray-lit blankets
slowly folding
over icy trees-
a half-dream,
muffled shapes
in a
muted haze.
