My Prideful Wolf

by Snowdrop   Apr 10, 2010

I want you
Your bestial eyes boring right through me
The way you seem so cold and distant to everyone
What are you thinking right now?
What world do you wish to be in?
I want you

He's like a wolf, a wolf full of pride and spite for people
Those humans who have shot words of malice at him, leaving him cornered like a cat and mouse
But he didn't get scared
He won't get scared
I want him

I think of those slender strong hands
I imagine what it would be like to kiss you
Would you be ferocious or would you wimper in fear of being loved and paid attention to?
Do you know what it's like to be loved
My stern stern wolf?
I want you

People are cruel
I know that, I know that we fight amongst each other for no reason
I know that we kill each other, sometimes to extinction
And you ask me whether gray wolves have ever killed white wolves for the colour of their fur
I looked at you with sad eyes
Your blue eyes reflected all the sadness and pain of the world within them
And I cried
I cried for humanity
I cried for you
Can you ever want me?

    Trully exceptional ^_^ loved it
so sweetly written , yet it has truths that sting.
