Seductively Painful Game

by broken hearted   Apr 12, 2010

Razor, Razor,

Gleaming bright,

Tell me you'll be there for me tonight.

All my friends tell me to call them if I ever get the urge to talk to you,

Why don't they understand that I need you,

That I love you.

You've always been there for me.

When friends let me down.

You were always the one calling my name,

Welcoming me back into your seductively painful game.

In the nights when I hurt,

I could hear you calling my name,

Whispering to me that it would all be OK as long as we played the game.

I kept our relationship a secret for oh so long,

Afraid someone might think it wrong.

I was right to keep it secret,

They judged us right away.

I listened to them say I didn't need you,

I smiled at their foolishness,

I don't understand why it's so hard for them to see,

That I have you and you have me
