A Love Tragedy

by JaM   Apr 12, 2010

As I lay in utter silence,
my heart aches of loneliness,
Kept within is affection,
no foreseen direction.

Often tiresome of life,
along with the waves of change,
Seeking a body of heat,
to sweep my off my feet.

Through many failed attempts,
the results remain unchanged,
I have lost my true lover,
now laying alone under my cover.

Never sure of what is to follow,
thus I struggle to keep my faith,
However life is easier to bare,
when souls combine as a pair.

Each moment is precious,
therefore sacrifices are required,
Once given up my treasures,
for life's simple pleasures.

I wake up to emptiness,
and sleep in tears,
Cause I miss the smiles,
while traveling for miles.
