Twisted words

by Taylor   Apr 23, 2010

Your eyes dig deep inside of me
Scratching at my skin
without a single touch
A mark too big to disappear
is as left behind as I am
You, echoing in my head
I can't do this.
I can't do this to you.
I can't do this to you because I care.
Twisting words with every repetition
and slowly losing the sound of your voice
I am hanging on nothing but your jumbled words
And I'm still begging the line
Not. To. Break.
