Remiss

by Kat   Apr 25, 2010

Dreams caressing skin deeper then fingers could

Where intricate fallacies tell a story

I believe our fairytales are misunderstood

How sweet, the way you taste beautiful glory

Love songs on the radio cause me to reminisce

Yet I still wish you were here, the stability you gave

Were we so remiss?

In each touch, kiss, beyond physical are we so concave?

Lover of mine, our mouths fused and hands held tightly

There is no way to articulate my need, desire, wrapped in life's confusion

Skimming over pretty beating hearts the damage still exists even lightly

Why isn't there a conclusion to this mess?

No answer to our distress without sacrifice

Wavering in my dedication I seek to erect a fortalice

I'm yearning for rebirth
