Hands on a Face

by Kat   Apr 25, 2010

I have loved, & I have lost.

Been blind, & proven a fool.

Isolation preferable to a love so cruel

Rewind that I may bargain like Faust

But does selling my soul regain,

The hands on a face?

Let me belabor your disgrace

Seeking to spare me, to be humane,

I could have done without.

True love, an odd notion.

I am a single drop in the ocean

Yes, I see why you doubt.
