My cheesey garden (this is super cheesey)

by angie   Apr 30, 2010

I am not the half that you came and made a whole
Nor an empty hole looking for a soul

I was a decorated garden with flowers all in bloom
And you, just walking by, admiring the view

I did not need your water to quench a dying thirst
And I had no intentions of putting your needs first

You were not in need of another patch of weeds
Nor did you care to bother with the threat of all the bees

You did not search for a flower to decorate your room
And you weren't in search of beauty to mask all your gloom

You needed no assistance along your beaten path
And I needed no watering can assisting in my bath

Funny how times like these make for the best romance
Two separate, complete, root systems creating the strongest plants.
