Life's journey

by angie   Jul 23, 2009

We are on a journey.
Your path and mine...
two different directions but
they seem to have intertwined.

I skipped through flowers to get here
and you with your skies of blue.
We met in the rain at the intersection
and my flowers needed you.

We've discovered the river aside our trails
climbed the rocks and opened our sails
a rapid, a splash, calm waters, or dry
my hand is in yours through the adventures of life.

Over looking the deepest valley's
climbing the biggest trees
finding the beauty of the ocean
floatin' on a meadow breeze.

A gravel road through a field of dreams
golden wheat in the setting of the sun
silently staring off at the beauty,
and our journey has just begun.

(Its a bit messy but, hey, thats life!)
