Oh how I hope

by angie   Apr 30, 2010

I hope to hold your hand
Until my muscles fail my grip
And I hope to walk beside you
For as long as allowed by my hips

I hope to hear your voice
Until my ears no longer hear
And I hope to see your smile
From old, wrinkly, ear to ear

I hope to look into your eyes
Until I can no longer see
And I hope to be calling your name
Even when my memory fails me

I hope to remain in your heart
Until its final beat
And I hope, Oh how I hope
That you hope the same for me

**I am a lucky girl to have the my man of my dreams! we have been married for 8 months today!**
