Tree

by ToTormentedToEvenCare   May 2, 2010

Your lips touched mine one night
Behind the tree at your parent’s house
And of promises you spoke where I dreamily laid in
We lived in a place where red roses bloomed during winter
And in it you laid there
We stood beneath the tree at your parent’s house
And there we said our vows
And we kissed
Our lips dancing to the sounds of laughter
And there you rest
Where no one could touch your heart
Dancing with demons
Where they kissed your lips
And promised you the stars
I could not find you or your heart
They took them from me
From my life
Behind the tree of you parent house we laughed
Of silly things like shoes and life
And there your eyes began to lose its gleam
Your body was left, but no soul resided in it
At the tree behind your parents house I stood alone, waiting
Waiting for you to come back to me
Waiting and hoping for release
