Mirrored Hearts

by Marissa   May 2, 2010

Intellectual mind, somewhat like a maniac's,
too many thoughts for one mind,
yet you crave for my knowledge, thirsting for my story, and every moment my pen drops,
you're tuned in, are you in sync with me,
or is my imagination taking over my very existence,
can't project all my thoughts, too much chaos in this darkness i call my domain,
ready to explode as my inner self bursts,
we could read one another's lives and relay it back to the other, or let loose of them all momentarily, and enjoy this frazzled second,
savoring my time spent with you,
it's like you think and speak the same madness as i, do you search through my dreams while I'm sleeping, i sware i see you when i close my eyes,
yet my mind is out of this world,
so i could be having a mirage of some sort,
contemplating on the world and what my eternity shall be, are you twisted somewhere in this maze,
waiting to be let out, to caress my heart again,
with the song you play, so lovely in itself,
it could stop a demon in its tracks,
or am i simply stuck in my own dream world,
something other beings never actually witness,
can you tell me what you see when you set your eyes on me, look deeper,
because somewhere in my twisted world,
I'm sure you'll see you...
