Death rocked us today

by CrossCut   May 4, 2010

The sullen looks filling long corridors
What a tragic day
Somber tear streaked faces
Silent classrooms, silent lunches
Students hugging, holding each other together
Afraid we may loose another
We took so much for granted,
Never realizing how quickly death could touch us

Everyone in my school pulled together and mourned, I was fascinated at how so many different people could share so much but today showed me that no matter who you are or what you stand for, death is something people don't take lightly, especially when it's one of your own.
