Diamonds

by Minkus   May 8, 2010

My joy is astronomical
as my lawn becomes my observatory
and I realize that I own
millions, millions of diamonds

Their sharp echoes
filter and reverberate down
through the heavens
and at the end of crystal passageways
I breathe and drink
of the celestial tinkling

and I am filled with light
