My friend

by Darling   May 21, 2010

My oldest friend,
Always my shoulder.
An ever recurring trend,
Even as I get older.

Always can rely on,
Your cold and callous ways.
When all is wrong,
Heal my dismay.

My darkest hour,
You're by my side.
While spiders devour,
Any shred of pride.

When all I am is hollow,
You prove that I am not.
That there is a tomorrow,
I should leave myself to rot.

My oldest fiend,
Forever gripping my hand.
Picking at my seams,
You are all I am.
