Rainbow Coloured Courage.

by Hologram   May 22, 2010

Rainbow coloured tears
Are falling from my face,
Just another angel
Who has fallen from grace.

Keep the beatings coming
So I won't lose my place,
If life wasn't a challenge
Would you be in this race?

Cut the folded paper
To make a snowflake.
It's OK to give back
For every bruise that you take.

They say that perfect people
Never make a mistake,
But I say perfect people
Are just playing it fake.

Rainbow coloured pills
Are filling up my hand.
Don't tell me I need to cut,
This pain is not pretend.

It's not picking a fight,
I'm just taking a stand.
Still a thousand poems later
Would they even understand?

Load your silver tongue
With my kryptonite please.
Only when you kill me
This pen will rest at peace.

If suicide's like cancer
Who can cure this disease?
But it's not terminal
Until the trigger you squeeze.

Rainbow coloured flowers
Are filling a grave,
I promise this time
The poet will behave.

Stop looking at yourself
As someone to be saved,
It's a rather selfish view
To say that quitting is brave.

    Woah.
Seriously, ii think you stopped writing for a while .. 'Cause deep down you were preparing this.

    It's mind blowingly confronting;
&& Ever for the broken hearted.

P.S - After all this, ii understand
