Hardly Aware

by Leah   Jun 9, 2010

I'm hardly aware of anything,
I'm hardly aware of this,
I'm hardly aware of reality,
I'm hardly aware of your kiss.

I'm hardly aware of my thoughts anymore,
Hardly aware of you on top of me,
And I can't even breathe by myself anymore,
And I can hardly even see.

I'm hardly aware of your words anymore
Hardly aware that I'm alive to,
And I can't hear the song of the birds anymore
Hardly aware I lost myself in you.

I'm hardly aware of the beauty, my eyes
Hardly aware of tranquility of butterflies,
Hardly aware that my heart is broken,
Hardly aware that my love hasn't spoken.

I'm hardly aware of myself,
I'm hardly aware of my depression,
Hardly aware that I've blocked out the world
Created inside myself a deep recession.

I'm hardly aware that I'm aching inside,
Hardly aware that I miss you so,
Hardly aware that I cared for you
Hardly aware that you let our love go.

I'm hardly aware of anything at all,
I'm hardly aware of the people who care,
I'm hardly aware of myself, of my life
Hardly aware of a world without you there.
