You were fake

by lovely yet torn apart   Jun 16, 2010

Pretending that all is fine and that I'm not hurting each and everyday
I hope that you get what you deserve in the end
Because what you did to me was so unfair; immoral
I use to think of you as my best friend.
It's because of you that I can no longer sleep
My mind keeps running to the day you first held me in your arms
Tears being to flush my eyes and the tears sting like acid rain
I'm so foolish for falling for your fake charm.
I should have known what you would have done to me
You said that you weren't anything like him, but you are
The promises that you made meant nothing to you did they?
I guess its pointless wishing upon a star.
You see what you do to me?
You probably don't even care
I'm starting to think that you never did, and that you were playing a game
At night is when my heart begins to tear.
