I'm just a little boy
and i needed to know
how my daddy could hurt me so

we used to play games
and read books for hours
you'd take me places
and give me showers

you always told me you loved me
and said you'd always be there
but hey i guessed you lied
because you left without a care

now I'm sitting here
just wondering were you gone
what happened to the days
when i was your number one

its my first day at school today
and your no were to be found
so I'm just standing there staring at the ground

i needed you to hold my hand
i needed you to understand

but daddy wasn't there
because daddy didn't care
