Morning toast

by Sean   Jun 28, 2010

Morning blurs with complicated swirls;
of muddy nausea sparkled in bright memory.
Sugar coated sides of spilt dawn and coffee,
drip-dropping in the world of missing motivation.

Bleeps of malformed relationships flashing;
machinery hard-wired onto drained thumbs.
Early greetings made by loving known strangers,
shared morning dread with under buttered toast.

"i'm off to bed", he said.

    My goodness. What a powerful write. You have such a unique way with words that the reader actually feels what you are saying. Keep on writing, kel.
