Lullaby Sun

by Ares   Jul 7, 2010

Ì see you lying on a beach,
the sun is like an oven and you,
feel it folded over you like a blanket.
I see you trying hard to breathe,
the world is not a place for you,
and me - we should get out of here.

Run, run.
the sun is a lullaby.
run, run.
It's all on the inside.

I see you're trying not cry,
the tears they fight and beat you up,
down the road there used to be a light.
I see you're losing all the tiny,
battles that's been taking place and,
space - in your mind there used to be so bright.

Run, run.
the sun is a lullaby.
run, run.
This doesn't feel right.

You are a soul,
You are a creation.
It's all on the inside.

Run, run.
the sun is a lullaby.
run, run.
How can this feel right?
