Thoughts of a Paranoid me (prt. 1)

by Black Heart Still Beating   Jul 21, 2010

Wind slashes the car.
Rain stands in our way.
"Mommy, how much
longer?
Until we get home?"
The car jolts.
Fears grow
Thoughts of death,
they come calling
Visions of blood
suddenly appear.
The world is reeling
Spinning
Faster!
Faster!
Out of control.
Spilled blood turns icy
as you,
I,
Together we scream.
"Mommy, why do we scream?
No on can help us now.
It wont slow the car.
Wont heal our wounds.
Sure as hell wont save us.
Mommy? Can you hear me?
Mommy? Can you see it?
Why do you not see it,
Mommy?
All the horrible things that will happen."
"Hunny?
We're home, get out of the car..."
