Broken Man

by mike holey   Aug 16, 2010

This is my first poem in over 4 years. I quit writing for a long time, but now as life has continued, the world revolves, and i rotated back, due to having no place else to go. Hope you like, and be gentle.

Worn, Torn, Scorned
You thrusted yourself on me
I trusted myself with you
Together we made sweet, passionate love
Together we were one
Worn, Torn, Scorned
You lied and cheated
I cried and needed
Ive never been perfect
You were
Worn, Torn, Scorned
Together we made a baby
But the choice was yours
You didn't want it
You didn't want me
Worn, Torn, Scorned
You killed my baby
My daughter or son
Because of that
I am, a Broken Man.

Rozlyn this is to you, you broke me, heart and soul, but i will rebuild, i will move on, i will be stronger.
