Alone

by Jesaiah   Aug 21, 2010

Juliet: "Sitting in this room.
Alone.
Listening to the humming of silence.
My heart beat.
My breathing.
My mind."

Romeo: "Head flowing with thoughts.
My past.
My future.
My love.
Sitting in this room.
Alone."

Juliet: "Can silence scream?
Because it hurts to hear.
Alone.
Why love?, sit alone with me.
So I shall hear your heart beat with mine."

Romeo: "Silence is loud.
Only when all is quiet.
Or Alone.
Love's my peace, if same then yes.
Our hearts can conquer loneliness."

Juliet: "Please darling.
Say not a word.
Listen to perfection.
*Thump-thump.*
*Thump-thump.*
The song of love."

Romeo: "Alone no more.
I am with you.
I hear my breath again.
Our heart beat.
For their now in sync.
A new beautiful sound."

Juliet: "Too bad it's just a dream.
For when I open my eyes,
You will be gone.
And the silence.
It shall scream once more."

Romeo: "But dreamed of company.
Company so Im not alone.
The scream returns.
Reality comes back.
Sitting in this room.
Alone." - JW&MH

I'm wondering why you gave the female character a name and not the male? Perhaps you could pm me about this for I'm sure there's a reason.

This was something different, interesting and intriguing. Well done.
