Lock the Door

by No Need For A Name   Aug 23, 2010

Your breath I can feel on my neck
Your hand held within my hand
Before all this I was such a wreck
Wandering around with no head

The postcards still hang around the room
I really wish you were here
I can still hear your voice through the telephone
Your laughter ringing in my ears

I'd better lock my door tonight
If your not in bed by my side
Cause I'll walk out in the cold rainy night
Looking for love
Looking for life
I'd better not sleepwalk tonight
So please just stay here by my side
Cause I'll walk out in he cold rainy night
Just to keep you inside
Keep you inside my life

Once I was your rock
There for all the times
The time that you were lost
The times when you were mine

Now you live in the city
One hundred miles away
But I will never stop giving
My heart to you everyday

I'd better lock my door tonight
If your not in bed by my side
Cause I'll walk out in the cold rainy night
Looking for love
Looking for life
I'd better not sleepwalk tonight
So please just stay here by my side
Cause I'll walk out in he cold rainy night
Just to keep you inside
Keep you inside my life

And I know how I can be so condescending
And I know how hard it is to comprehend me
But I know how love can be a saving grace
And I know how I will fall out of place
If you leave this space, don't leave this place
Don't leave your face a memory
In my dream filled mind, your one of a kind
So please just stay with me

I'd better lock my door tonight
If your not in bed by my side
Cause I'll walk out in the cold rainy night
Looking for love
Looking for life
I'd better not sleepwalk tonight
So please just stay here by my side
Cause I'll walk out in he cold rainy night
Just to keep you inside
Keep you inside my life
