Wishes: I hurt

by SoUrNameIsTia   Sep 1, 2010

I am in love,
but I am hurting.
I hurt when I think of your arms,
it hurts when I envision your smile.
It hurts.

I am in love with you,
in love with a great man,
you care for me in all the ways,
I've ever wished for.

I've only wished for you,
and I still bid to be engulfed,
carried, swayed, touched,
engulfed.

I hurt since you're not here,
I love because you're the one,
but it hurts to bottle,
when I have attempted my uncapping.

Your love makes me cry,
your absence makes me weak,
but our hearts build my strength,
my love writes the words.

Right here is a woman who wants,
who needs,
who strives for what she has.
Wishes or hope.

True feelings explain a true love,
a true desire with nonfiction magic.
Your company starts the show,
but behind this curtain, I am feeble by wishes.
