Ode to Everlasting Death

An enigmatic white rose,
she was lustrous to behold,
such grace performing shows,
begged her secrets were untold.

Magnetic lit moonlight,
sensual clouds in flight.
Phallic eruptions of pride,
dark forces the tide.

Hypnotized by her eyes,
She planted her kiss,
staring down the abyss,
my heart scorched the skies.

All roads crossed seemed blessed that day.
My chosen love, beautiful as day.

An abrupt departure the morning after.
Intoxicated laughter, confusion thereafter,
lacking in strength like a spineless tent.
My body was spent, exhausted and bent.

Seeking out the cure, recovery is a blur.
Yearning for her lure, everlastingly pure,
hysteria at the gates, madness awaits,
dogmatic traits left me for the faiths.

Eventually a trail not unlike a snail,
a bitter betrayal except for one detail.
I peered through the lock at a man in shock,
His blood hit the clock as I tumbled back on a rock.

Appalled on the mound, there was a sickly sound,
as the seconds unwound, blood splattered the ground.
I sat frozen in time, repeating in broken rhyme,
the unspeakable crime committed by my white rose; sublime.

What is the question to the answer you have found?
Mixed emotions of death.
My soul feels hollow,
Yet strange notions of lust,
encourage my demons to follow.

Ask the question and eternity awaits!
At what cost to humanity?
your vanity incurs such devotion,
emotions are useless,
under evil promotion.

You would be my muse, what do you choose?
Accumulated sins illustrate my life,
neglected and alone, addiction prone!
Your magnetic tide will allow me to hide!
Let it be known i give into your tone.

Say good bye to the sun and fear of the gun...
