Tears of Suicide

by Frannie Swanson   Sep 3, 2010

Her heart pounded in her chest
as she caught a glimpse at his lips.
Her eyes was watering
and the tears cascaded down hers cheeks.

He was kissing her
that girl of his dreams 2 years ago.
He promised he'd love only her.
"But why did he betray me?"

Her heart withered
and shedded tears.

"So my heart resides,
somewhere in his soul.
But all will be lost
to my tormented hole.

He stabbed
and thrusts into my heart.
Somewhere along is
my meaningful part.

I'm just a girl with hopes
and dreams.
But I've been torn and ripped
at the seams.

So listen closely,
as you will find.
My tattered soul cry
the tears of suicide."
