Arma

by Jack Ryan   Sep 19, 2010

I was lost and alone
But there you were all along.
I crumbled and falled,
Yet you gave your hand for me to hold on.

You were there when I was low,
Never did you waver when my world turned cold.
You were my shining beacon of hope,
When the darkness was consuming my soul.

You gave me hope more than you know.
When my back was on a disintegrating wall.
You became the sturdy wall.
You made me believe.
That there is still some good in this world.

I never did mention it before,
but deep inside, somehow, somehow I knew
That my heart has been crying out for you.

I owe you for all that you have been to me.
For my heart that's still beating,
For my brain that's still thinking,
But most of all,
For the light that you gave back into my life.

Maybe someday, somehow,
I will be able to thank you.
