A Piece of Artistry

by Pink Butterfly   Sep 25, 2010

Sway the flames of your paintbrush
And lay my face on your canvass
You don't have to take a rush
I'll be patient with the dramas

Tickle your sight with my image
Swing your eyes to mine
Save all the romantic tunes
In your hand, make me shine

The colors on your palette
Gently speaks to me
Grace your portray with my smile
And reveal the mystery

Your passion is my passion
In these minutes we are one
Just fixed your eyes on me
And make everything all done

Put some shadow on my curves
And highlights on my hair
Don't hide the red chill on my lips
And show my skin so fair

I know you're captivated
Just the same as me
But I know that for you
I'm just a piece of artistry

Brilliant vocabulary. Stumbling upon the first stanza I'd decided to pick it as a favorite, but reading the entire piece made it difficult to pick any stanza, for the whole composition is amazing.

    It was such a heartfelt poem. But it would be really nicer if you use dictation more at the end of every line. Keep up the good work;
    Sincerely,
    Laura.
