115. Her Justice

by Toni Lawrence   Sep 29, 2010

As she lays there fast asleep she thinks to her self,
Will he come in to night or just walk on by.

She fears the sounds she hears when the lights go out,
The clink clink of the boots he wears coming her way.

She wishes that he wouldn't touch her where he does,
But She knows that if she says no he will go for her sisters.

She knows that she has to keep them safe from him,
So she doesn't speak of it to no one fearing what he will do.

Years later she grew stronger over time to find her voice to the truth,
She knew the time had come to speak up of the damages he cause to her.

She knows that by cleaning the wound it will hurt before it starts to heal,
So she knew that by speaking up than and only than could she have her Justice.
