132. The No Men Pledge

by Toni Lawrence   Sep 29, 2010

This is the no men pledge, and I pledge that,
He who is male will not,
Extinguish the love we carry.

None of them will take me from Myself,
Out of their hands is where I can be safe.

Men will not steal my souls identity.
Amazing with in myself I know I can be.
Never let them get to my heart and they can't break it.

Plain and simple I don't need him to make me who I am.
Love for me is love from myself it comes from within me.
Encouragement is what I will always give to myself.
Deny them the rights to break me down to nothing.
Greatest strength I will give to me is my own beauty.
Entrusting my heart & life into my own hands now.
