If I Could Find You

by LT 8D   Oct 10, 2010

Swimming through a canyon of love without a paddle,

Closing my eyes so I don't have to see the love lost battle.

The conflict of soul, spirit, and want

As I open my eyes and realize that you're all Ive got.

So where does that leave us?

I found clarity, in a world of false reality.

But where are you?

An empty space in my canoe.

Not to mention my heart,

Which I was willing to tear apart.

Just for one more kiss,

Or an evening of bliss,

That you don't seem to miss!

But wait...

I haven't told you any of this.

Because my secret is in a lock box

On a higher plane of Love

That I plan on handing to you

With a white satin glove

If only...

I could find you, My Love.

I really like the images that you create, even without using lots of words. I like the concise nature of the poem and you do a very good job of sending the message without droning at all. Nice to see a guy do it up on here. I like the white satin glove too haha, like I said the imagery is very strong. Good job
