My secret

by Knuckles aka sunshine   Oct 11, 2010

Searching for a way to make you see
that the pain you feel constantly
the hurt that has come to define you
is on the other side of the phone ring
apprehensive to answer
knowing what awaits you
curious to the new twist of agony
that will be added to your misery
determined to believe
that things will begin to change
the pain will ease one day
wont ignore that he is calling
never letting the phone just ring
cant you see this isn't meant
for the amazing beauty
standing before me
everyday a little more of you fades
i watch the tears of heartache fall
as th walls of pain grow ever taller
wont let anyone in to rescue you
screaming for a relief
when that freeing answer lies
in between the bricks shutting you in
is resides in you, take a stand
give me your clenched hand
search my eyes for the comfort you seek
i hear your internal screams
I've waited here patiently
taking on your agony intently
there has been a secret I've been keeping
I've loved you from the first
moment i saw you

I liked how you explained the pain you saw in the other person and then how you felt that pain within yourself great transfer of emotion. The flow was good. There was a small issues with spelling maybe a typo but all and all a good piece of work grat write. If you get a chance check out my work Plot121
