Arcanum

by Beautiful Chaos   Oct 13, 2010

Keeping my secrets to myself
Locked in the deepest corner of my mind
Guarded by my nightmares
Consoled by my heart

One would have to be me
Or devour me to find them
By then they would be worthless
For I would no longer exist

Until that day
Snakes will weave through my mind
Creating false dens of mystery
Caged in defeated regrets

Taunting onlookers to try
Delve into the iniquity of my mind
To evolve into something beyond themselves
Consuming my essence of life
