Smile, Then Frown

Sometimes,
when I think of you,
I smile,
Then frown.

I Remember the times when we laughed together,
And talked about anything and everything,

.....And how now we no longer do.......

World's changed,
We aged,
Time shifted,
And apart we've drifted.

I suppose I could have tried harder to stay in touch,
But then again, you could have to.

Everything's fine now,
We're all doing well,
Yet in the back of my mind
regret does dwell.

And one day,
When you think of me,
I hope you smile,
Then frown.
